There are two national parks in Sri Lanka. Trincomalee Pigeon Island National Park becomes one of the most important marine national parks. Pigeon Island got this name with is rock pigeon also this is one of the highly protected areas. There are two small islands in here. There is soft and hard coral find in this tremendous place. Also, this is a paradise for snorkeling as well as diving. The underwater biodiversity is very high and that is truly amazing to observe the diversity of coral as well as fish species. According to the records, there are 100 coral species and 300 coral fish species found in this particular area.  The depth is perfect for having enthusiastic diving or snorkeling experience in here. A perfect diving site for the underwater naturalist or underwater photography because there are a lot of things to be discovered or observed on this site. Schools of fish with eels, rays, barracuda, and lionfish can be commonly spotted in here. North Reef also nestled to much coral fish as well sighting turtle also the common thing in here. The diversity of coral is very high on this dive site. A great place to observe all kinds of reef fish, as well as vast coral reefs, find in this significant place.
