Seven hot water spring located in near Trincomalee. The temperature varies with each other. According to the epic, the history reaches up to Rawana era. This place used by King Rawana for worshiping God.  He put his sword to the earth and made some holes and that holes became hot water spring. That is the belief of people. Even today many people do many oblations for various Gods with using the hot water. According to the archaeological department, there is a Buddhist Monastery which has more than two thousands of years. Ancient ruins were spread over a vast area by presenting the glorious history and the civilization of past. According to the archaeological facts, it was a Buddhist monastery complex located around here and more than thousands of Buddhist Monks were using this hot water spring as well because the ancient ruins scattered around here.
